I ♥ Faces - Week 14 Easter/Spring, Killeen Photographer, Texas

Spring has sprung! We had a fantastic Easter filled with all kinds of bunny huggin' activities, and though I tried my darndest to get that perfect egg hunting shot where my toddler clapped his hands with glee over his treasure, I did not succeed. I learned this year that smarter people, who are not trying to photograph two children in their darling, matching LLBean shirts, have seperated preschool egg hunters from less experienced toddler siblings by a field AND a fence. Then again, the bluebonnets are really popping up now, and here in Central Texas, you can't get any more SPRING in your step than stomping through a field of these blooms with your cutest kiddos in tow! Is it STILL snowing where you are? Head over to I ♥ Faces to get a glimpse of Spring and to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER!

My, what big eyes you have...! What a great picture! The magnifying glass sure is a fun prop/entertainer for kids out in the bluebonnets. Knowing how "cooperative" the kids were being, this is perfect in focus in composition.

Again you inspire me! I love how you are always thinking outside of the box to come up with new and creative images. I think this photo is fabulous and I also love the color!

This is SO cute, and totally unexpected! I love that you surprised me! LOL! I've seen several posters from TX with these beautiful fields of flowers!

First of all I love blue bonnet pics and second that is so cute! I took a pic like that with a magnifying glass last year of my older boy and I LOVE it!

Looks like you and Julie were in the same field of flowers! You both take such gorgeous shots. I just looked through the rest of your blog and am so in awe of the beautiful photos you take!

So cool. I really like the perspective the magnifing glass gives to her face.

This is adorable. I can't look at it without smiling! And that field of bluebonnets is such a gorgeous setting - fireants and all! We had more snow here today, so I'm really envying your Texas weather. Bet you're going to miss it in AZ. My dad lives in Phoenix, so maybe someday I'll get to meet you face to face!! Thank you for your feedback on my picture of Beauty. Great advice, and I will try your suggestions out today. Thanks!
