It's another Fix-It-Friday over at I ♥ Faces! I have to admit that I was up with The Baby before 6am and after getting him back to sleep I sprinted for the computer hoping to have an uninterupted morning with the new "Fix-It" photo. The Boy started yacking lastnight at 8:30pm and I knew that today would be a "Mommy" day and not a blogging day... So here is my fix; I got a whole twenty minutes in before the pitter patter of little needy feet! Yehaw! I played this morning with "free transform", did a bunch of patch work because though the tear was beautiful, and I appreciate pouting, it looked more like a blemish with my "Troy" Action I wanted to use. I saturated some colors and sharpened around the eyes. Lastly I cropped to a square and because of my transform I was left with a black bottom right corner and a black top left corner, so I had to clone and stamp a little to cover those areas. Not too shabby!
LIGHTER EDIT:
DARKER EDIT
Head on over and have your chance! This Fix-It is open to all! As for me? My morning is going to continue with vomit covered laundry, and lots of it, and a good strong cup of coffee! How funny is it that the coffee didn't happen at 6am?! I didn't want to lose five minutes to making coffee, or creating kitchen noise that would wake The Boy. (Did you know that if you put Vanilla Dream Soy Milk in your plain black coffee, you needn't add sugar?! Delish!)

Oh no! So sorry about the vomit-covered laundry!
As for the edit, I love what you did with the picture!
Those look great! I like both, but the darker one is my fav. :)
The darker one is my favorite, I really enjoy looking at your images
You're amazing for having accomplished two great edits in such a short amount of time! I think I'm liking the darker one best because it makes the face more the focus. They're both beautiful!
I love the "darker" edit the best! Mmmm, now I'm going to have to try that vanilla soy milk!
Well, I'm going against the grain here and saying I like the lighter edit best!
I think I like the lighter one better, although they are both great! I like the crop also. Very beautiful!
Both of these are beautiful. I hope your little guy is feeling better QUICKLY and that you have much less laundry than you expect!
Karen,
You rock! I've been trying to figure out how to enlarge photos for months and this new Iheartfaces blog showed me in 2 lessons!
Thank you sooooo much. You're photos are gorgeous.

We are battling the flu here in our home...it gets really old, really fast. Doesn't it?!
AWESOME edit Karyn. I absolutely love the way you cropped the photo to change the angle of his face. Beautiful job!

Love that first edit. Both of them are beautiful!
Wow they both look so great!
This is a beautiful job.
Very lovely edits! The way you cropped and lightened the first completely changed the mood of the picture! Amazing what creative postprocessing can do! I'm impressed you managed this much in 20 minutes! BTW, thanks for the nice comment about liking my posts. It made my week!
Nice job, I really can't say I like one over the other they both look great. I agree with you on the tear I edited it out as well.
Ooooo! Are you still doing this!?!? I have a photo I'd love to send to you!
