I ♥ Faces - NO FLASH

ADULT ENTRY:

KIDS ENTRY:

I hate flash. Probably because I don't understand it completely, but mostly because I don't care for what it does to my images and I can't entertain the thought of carrying around a hand held unit while trying to do the very active work that I do. I love daylight savings time, and I love overcast stormy days. Both make for great natural light. My adult entry was taken around 7pm here in Central Texas, on the side of a building that was in full shade. My kids entry was taken at high noon, on a very cloudy day with no shade. My kids entry is my go-to image for when I need a cheer; it just cracks me up that the sole girl on the team is acting anything but ladylike, and the little boy to her right, what a trip! Now it's your turn, head over to I ♥ Faces and show the world the face that gives YOU cheer!

I know what you are saying about Daylight Savings Time! I think both choices are superb and it is fun to hear a bit about when and where the shots were taken. And really, how can you NOT smile with that basketball team?!

What great shots! :-) I love the background on your adults shot - and the basketball team definitely brings a smile to my face!

I love both these images. Usually I'm not so fond of "urban" locations, but I really like this grungy rusty wall as a backdrop to this lovely couple. Nice!

And the basketball team just cracks me up!!

I loved the one of the couple when I first saw it posted with the Harley photo - great entry! The kids entry rocks! It belongs on a poster or something. It is so cute! I have your homecoming pic up on my blog for the support our troops giveaway, but I couldn't size it to 640 without cutting off half the image. Any ideas?

I'm totally loving all your pictures! I'll have to make this a regular place to come. Well done! And don't be a flash hater. :) When you bounce it, it becomes a lot nicer!

Such sweet pictures! I'm foreseeing another top ten!
