I ♥ Faces - Creative Crop

Mmmmmmm, yummy! My husband has just delivered a piece of cinnamon toast to his hard working, eye strained, wife. I have been editing photos since 5am, yup, haven't been up at that hour since crew, or breastfeeding, both activities start at an unacceptable hour, so take your pick. It has been determined in this house that one must rise before the dawn to Photoshop client pictures, therefore leaving the rest of the day to family time with our Soldier who is now on 24/7 vacation for the next month! At this point I welcome all suggestions for juggling work and family! My choices this week come from my weekend shoot with an adorable basketball team here at Fort Hood. This little cutie pie is the coaches daughter and has been stealing my heart every Tuesday and Thursday at preschool drop-off too. She and her Mom have got to be the cutest little kissers I have EVER seen, and in my line of work, there is A LOT of kissin' goin' on! Go check out all the entries in this week's photo contest at I ♥ Faces!

WOW! Very nicely done! I love the adult one! She's licking her chin! How hilarious is that! In the uncropped photo, you don't pick up on that at all!

Love that adult crop - in the sooc you hardly notice the people, let alone the detail, but the crop is wonderful :D

Wow! I LOVE the cropping and the coloring on both. Well done!! The adult one is hilarious. I almost didn't notice the tongue!

Didn't notice the little girl's tongue in your adult choice until I saw the cropped version. Awesome! Worth the crop just to key in on that.

And I love both versions of your child entry. I can't decide which is better.

Terrific entries!

I love candid shots and what amazing ones you have here. You did a beautiful job cropping them because I didn't even notice the girl sticking her tongue out until I saw it close-up. Great job!

Oh I love these. The last one is amazing. I didn't notice the licking until the crop.

That green icing rather required a B&W conversion! :) Great job cropping the image down to a very sweet picture of a cute girl. And that kiss between mom and daughter is so precious! I love that you were far away in the SOOC but you would have no idea by the final cropped version. Fantastic choices, both!

love your cropping, it really helps to show the story in each photo! I also like the firs tin black and white, It highlights that little cutie nicely

LOVE both crops, but my goodness the second one is a heart-stopper. So precious! Love how losing the distractions around mom and daughter helps me enjoy every little detail that I might have otherwise missed! Great job as usual!

Nice shot

I love them both! I like the fact that you were able to save the green teeth shot by converting it to a beautiful b&w.

The adult photo is great but that kid stole the moment with her little tongue! LOL!!
