Where's My Baby? A Motherhood Moment...

We went to playgroup this morning at our local community center. I used to not be able to go because I couldn't handle a crawler and a toddler on my own among the mobs of irresponsible parents that would let their hoodlums run amok. And there I was, sitting in the middle of the gym floor, watching The Baby RUN across the gym, squealing with glee, chasing balls and pushing "shopping carts" and FLIRTING with every baby girl in sight! My breath caught and I thought to myself "where is the baby? He is all boy, when did that happen?!"
That was then...

This is now...

As I am writing this post, challenging myself to edit the two photos and upload the blog within thirty minutes of sitting down at the computer (I might make it under an hour if I quit yapping), the boys wake up, first The Baby and then out wanders The Boy. The Boy sees the image of The Baby in newborn form on the computer and I say "that's The Baby when he was brand new out of Mommy's tummy." His response? "Yeah, he's like a teeny tiny little WORM!" My,what can I say. I'm so addicted to your blog, I sit here waiting for it to pop up yet another picture. Can I get a "ding" for you got blog?
Great pictures as always, the tone instead of color quiets things down.
Was actually checking to see if you blogged about your magazine cover. That was well done too.

Oh my, what a comparison! (And given the new picture was taken in a gym...good grief, it is gorgeous!) When I saw the first newborn one, I was wondering where you found a baby to take a picture of. :) (And congrats, again, on that magazine cover!!!)

So cute. They change so fast, it's bittersweet isn't it? Love the boy's worm comment. Funny. And thanks for the tip about shooting adults from above! Wouldn't have thought of it. The tutorial was great too. I am so grateful to those of you pros and experts who are generous enough to share advice with us beginners. I have such a desire to take beautiful pictures, but I'm just not sure the talent is there, you know? But I'm going to keep at it anyway! I'll be in touch soon about the photo for my support the soldiers giveaway. Thanks for being willing to participate!
